As the result of an agreement between the Centre de Donn ees de Strasbourg CDS and A A the Abstracts of all papers published by A A Main Journal and Supplement and some large tabular data published in A A are distributed in electronic form This service is presented and its impact on the astronomical community is discussed based on a two year experience for the tabular data and one year for the Abstract service
